Our Staff.

The staff at Grace Christian School is small, but we're passionate about preparing the next generation not only with a solid educational foundation but also with a biblical worldview that will help them impact their world for Christ. All instructors are degreed and certified as teachers through a recognized accrediting agency or the state of Florida. 

2026-2027 Instructional Staff

Mrs. Becca Wylupek | Administrator

Mrs. Wylupek has been a middle school and high school English teacher for over 13 years. She holds a B.A. degree in English with minors in secondary education and Bible. She has also been a school administrator for 6 years. Mrs. Wylupek is certified through the  Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools as a secondary English and Bible instructor. 

 

Mr. Jason Kahler | Upper Bible 

Mr. Kahler has served in many school positions throughout the 20+ years of his career in Christian education, mostly in Hernando County, FL: middle and high school teacher (many subjects!), secondary assistant principal, athletic director, and even an elementary instructor for a few years. He holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and an administrator certification through the Association of Christian Schools, Intl. 

 

Dr. Tammy Manners | Upper English

Dr. Manners holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Organizational Psychology from Capella University and a B.A. in Psychology from St. Leo University. She brings many years experience in K-12 education, and most recently, as an adjunct professor at Pasco-Hernando State College. 

 

 

Mrs. Heather Miller | Upper History

Mrs. Miller has spent over 12 years in the secondary history classroom, teaching mostly high school classes, including AP courses in U.S. History and U.S. Government and Politics. She has also served as a school counselor, National Honor Society advisor, coordinator for exchange students, and has planned and executed class trips. She holds a B.A. in Social Studies Education and an M.A. in Community Counseling.

 

Mr. Ben Mogg | Upper science and math

Mr. Mogg has been serving as a teacher in both private and public schools in Citrus County for over 8 years. He has taught and is certified in all levels of secondary math and science. Before beginning his teaching career, Mr. Mogg planned and managed the building of professional science laboratories. Mr. Mogg holds a B.S. in Biology and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Mogg is a Florida state certified instructor for secondary science and math.

 

 

Mrs. Katie Vaughn | 5th Grade

Mrs. Vaughn has over 8 years experience as an elementary education teacher in schools throughout central Florida. She is returning to the classroom this year after several years off to homeschool and travel with her family. Mrs. Vaughn holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeastern University. She is also certified to teach through the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. (FACCS).

Miss Carolyn Wylupek | 4th Grade

Miss Wyupek begins her third year of teaching elementary students at the 4th grade level. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Liberty University and certification through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). She has also spent several years in school-related positions such as teacher's aide, substitute teacher, after-school program instructor, and summer care program lead.
