FAQ's
Please explore our full website for more information -- but here are some quick answers to frequently asked questions. For any other questions you may have, please call, text, or email us.
What are the school's hours?
8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Is before or after-care available?
At this time, no after-care is available; however, that may change as we get closer to the beginning of the school year in August.

Is there a bus service?
No. We will help GCS families connect to possibly provide for transportation.

What about food services?
Students will be required to bring a lunch and morning snack every day. Pizza Fridays (delivered) are in the works! Also, sodas and snacks will be available for purchase on Fridays.

Do the students wear uniforms?
Yes, girls and guys will wear polo shirts with the GCS logo. These must be purchased from our selected vendor. Pants and shorts in specific colors can be purchased anywhere. A full explanation of the dress code can be found in our Student Handbook here.

Does Grace Christian School have the same holidays and days off as the public schools?
Yes! GCS has essentially the same calendar as the Citrus County public school system.

Is there a sports program?
For the first year, no. We are looking forward to building a sports program as our enrollment grows. However, Florida state law allows homeschoolers and any private school student that attends a small school with no sports program to participate in their locally zoned public school's sports teams.

Will my Florida state scholarship (FTC, FES-EO, Hope) cover everything?
Almost! We expect that only about $300 per student in fees will not be covered.
